While I was writing these words I thought about the information needed for describing a person. In fact, It could be easy when is talked only about the academic career and generic information, such as my name is Xavier Mas and I am 24 years old from Catalonia (Spain). I studied Human Biology in the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), after that I got a master of education in International University from La Rioja (UNIR) where I published the article “TIC Analysis of ICT educational resources specializing in Biology and Geology in secondary education (UMI Dissertations)”. However, in my opinion a description of a person is far away of that.
My studies in music not only give me the opportunity to play clarinet, but also provide another vision of life, a new way of communication and the possibility to meet people of other countries. I also want to emphasize the importance of my experience in sports (basketball), where people interact in teamwork while are practicing healthy activity.
I also worked in a charity field in the Obra Social Caixa as a responsible of the “Parlem de drogues” (Talking about drugs) exposition where I teach the content to the different scholar groups. Furthermore I have experience in teaching during my master course in IES Lacetania (Manresa). This is what I am; my real passion is teaching, favoring the acquirement of knowledge and contributes to improve the future society and the life of the next generations.
This blog try to provide teachers with new resources, offering a meditation space about new methodologies, innovative tools for improving their daily work and creating an educational community.
